He will be primarily a Level – 2 support personnel leading a Level – 1 support team under him which consist both UST and Client teams. He should communicate to various client support groups, application managers etc during an event or issue. He should be able to guide his support team to take up actions during the event. He will get the information from his support team during an incident based on which he has to take the decision. In addition he has to manage all escalations within the team and external teams and take the right decisions. He will also primarily manage and co-ordinate the incident tickets and RCA system within this department.
