*Job Details:*

*Job developer: Java Developer*

*Duration: 12 months contract or contract to hire*

*Location: Downtown Denver, CO*

*F2F and need 10 years exp.*



Need: Java and Microservices



Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:



· Participation in regular logical design sessions with the rest of
the Mobile Application Development team

· Gathering requirements from project sponsors and refining them
over time as necessary

· Collaboration with colleagues in various departments to consume
data via API (REST and SOAP)

· Writing services and web apps with Java, Spring, Struts, OOP,
Maven/Ant/Gradle, HTML, XML and JavaScript that satisfy business
requirements and conform to team visual, logical and architectural standards

· Regularly communicating progress to teammates, manager and other
stakeholders

· Documenting logic and techniques at the code level

· Committing, Branching, Merging code to GitLab/Subversion
repository and integrating team members’ code as needed

· Creating server builds for TQA, UAT and end users

· Handing off nightly tasks to off-shore team members

· Solid understanding of Java *coding* best practices and ability
exemplify and lead other Java Developers in those practices

· Solid understanding of Java *architectural* best practices and
ability exemplify and lead other Java Developers in those practices



*Skills - Experience and Requirements*

A successful Mobile Application Server Developer will have the following:



· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, preferably using
Eclipse Maven

· Solid understanding of Java Security Practices

· Knowledge in the use and configuration of Tomcat

· Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS and JSP

· Experience writing web apps using Struts

· Understanding of GitFlow a plus

· Understanding of Java Coding Standards and Styling

· Familiarity with agile methodology

· Familiarity with relational database concepts and SQL programming
using MSSQL and Oracle

· Strong interpersonal skills; friendly, approachable and motivated
with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or
equivalent experience;  Master’s a plus

· Strong technical leadership skills
