We can’t proceed with OPT, F1, H4, L1’s.* I will contact you, if I need more information. *ETL Production Support with Experience in Teradata * Location: Richardson, TX Rate: $50/hr Duration: 12 months+ Job Description: • Hands-on experience and knowledge of Data Warehouse best practices, Teradata, and Informatica ETL. • Ability to solve issues by coordinating across cross-functional areas • Experience with the day to day maintenance of application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation • Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, management & User communication • Experience in Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management • Provide daily support with resolution of escalated tickets and act as liaison to business and technical leads to ensure issues are resolved in timely manner • Suggest fixes to complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of root cause and impact of the defect • Assists the technical team in identification and resolution of Data Quality issues • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skills • Experience in configuration management and software release principles as well as change management concepts • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities as well as exceptional customer service orientation • Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through implementation and on-going support • Ability to communicate clearly with internal business customers and translate from business requirements to technical specifications • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills • Interface daily with cross functional team members within the EDW team and across the enterprise to resolve issues • Participate and assist in meetings as a member of the Data Warehouse team • Ability to format and generate summary, statistical, and presentation reports. Skills: • 5+ years’ experience in Data Warehousing. • 3+ years of Teradata experience • 2+ years of hands on Informatica experience • 3+ years of Oracle experience • 3+ years of Unix experience • 5+ years’ experience working in a cross-functional environment • Experience with production support activities which involve on call support, assignment of issues and issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLAs • Ability to drive clarity of purpose and goals during release and planning activities • Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with high level of attention to detail • Excited by the opportunity to continually improve processes within a large company *Regards,* *Palak Patel* *I sent this email through Google/Yahoo Groups.
