Re: linux java debuggers

2000-05-08 Thread Jesper Nordenberg

I would like to add Visual Age for Java 3.0 from IBM to this list (free
download from www.ibm.com). I think it's the best IDE for serious Java
programmers (I've tried most of them). The method and class moving and
renaming is super. It has an integrated debugger. I just moved to Visual
Age from Emacs JDE and I like the "object oriented" navigation approach
better than Emacs file based, but I admit the editor can't touch Emacs.
BTW, the new JDE also includes a debugger.

Hi Boris,

This question is fairly off-topic for this list. There are some much
better forums for generic C programming questions. This list is for
questions pertaining to using Java on the Linux platform.

Thanks
-John

PS. Look at the '-I' option to gcc in the gcc man page ("man gcc").
