About your Apache/JServ question I cannot give you much help but I did install Tomcat, the latest development in the servlet engine, and it runs ok. If I understan well the doc, JServ is not going to be developed further so Tomcat is the future. See http://jakarta.apache.com. http://jakarta.apache.org of course 8^). Yes, JServ is in bug-fixes only mode and the JServ team is working on Tomcat now (together with a lot of people that haven't been involved with JServ before). BTW I've been using JServ (both 1.0 and 1.1) with Blackdowns JDK (1.2.2RC4 *no* JIT) and Sun/Inprise's for month without any bigger problems. One thing I've encountered is that you should use JServ 1.0 on heavily loaded SMP machines when using green threads (the JVM might not get enough time to respond to the internal ping requests - started on another CPU - and thus JServ thinks it is dead). Re: [Re: Java2 & Alpha]
Well unless it is put up on the ports page nobody will know about it.
