Nope, it was revitalized when aliens from the 26th century brought had
lost one of their space crafts to Tim Wilkinson. He's now
incrementally releasing some of this 26th century technology into the
Kaffe VM. ;-)

I have to say, I'm impressed with he power of the rumour
mill. Microsoft didn't buy out Transvirtual, they merely payed for the
development of some elements of the KaffeVM which made it compatible
with their own proprietary extensions. Despite the evil that MS
represents I have to say that they've treated Transvirtual MUCH better
than Sun.

Font problem

2000-06-10 Thread Karthik Vishwanath

Hi,

I got the jdk1.2.2 from balckdown and use RH 6.1. On trying to execute a
simple program I get a screen of msgs which all read:

Font specified in font.properties not found [--zapf
dingbats-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific]

What is missing? What must I get to rectify this, and where can I find it?

Thanks,
-Karthik.
