Calling a web page

2000-10-20 Thread Nicolas Raitman

Hi to all! In the first place thanks for your cooperation since many of you
sent me code, however I am afraid that did not work, I mean it could not
compile. Could anyone be so polite of testing some lines of codes for
calling a web page and send it to me so that I can go on with an important
Linux project.

Thanks a lot,
Nicolas

looking for Java3D version 1.1.2 for Linux

2000-10-20 Thread test user

We have a problem that Java3D versions 1.1.3 and 1.2 throw Exceptions
with VisAD. However, Java3D 1.1.2 does not throw these Exceptions
running under Solaris and Windows.

Can anyone please send me a copy of Java3D 1.1.2 for Linux?

Thank you,
Bill Hibbard

Java doesn't pass by reference. You can pass an object, and through that
access and change the fields it contains.

No matter what we think of Linux versus FreeBSD, etc., the one thing I
really like about Linux is that it has Microsoft worried. Anything
that kicks a monopoly in the pants has got to be good for something.
