Re: [ANNOUNCE] Java 2 Standard Edition v1.3.1-FCS for Linux

2001-07-09 Thread jmsalvo

Is there a list somewhere that identifies how this ( or any JDK for that
matter ) is different from Sun's official JDK 1.3.1 for Linux x86? ( e.g.:
additional bug fixes, etc. )

2001-07-09 Thread Vinod Lamba

Hi All,

Congratulations to Blackdown Team , we are waiting for this.

Some Questions ::

1.) What about jdk1.4 ( when we will get FCS )?
2.) How jdk1.3 from blackdown is different from jdk1.3 from sun for
linux?

Thanks ,
- Lamba

print dialog

2001-07-09 Thread Glenn Holmer

Re. the new Blackdown JDK 1.3.1, it's really great and runs fast! But
when printing, the dialog comes up infinitesimally small. We see this
on Sun JDK 1.3.1 as well. Is there a known workaround? System: SuSE
7.1 w/kernel 2.4, KDE 2.11.
