[JAVA2D] JavaOne 2006

2006-04-14 Thread Chet Haase

I just realized that the
Early Bird discount for JavaOne ends today. It
seemed like I should at least send out a reminder to
the alias for folks that were interested in
possibly attending, but just hadn't gotten around
to registering.

Great desktop track sessions this year, both from
inside and outside Sun. For 2D fanatics, we'll have
a couple of sessions on Swing+2D effects plus a 2D
performance session from Maplesoft. For general
Desktop developers, there's lots of great sessions to go
around.

Anyway, check out the conference site at
   http://java.sun.com/javaone
and be sure to register today (April 14th) to get the nifty
discount.

Chet.

What a strangely unrelated question :)
The dimensions of an A4 sheet is specified by the International Standards
Organisation (ISO, hence ISO A4). So if you just want to know that then
there's plenty of resources on the web

here's a good informative link from googling and feeling lucky ...

http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/iso-paper.html

But somehow I don't think you asked the question you really wanted to ask

My best guess is what you REALLY meant to ask, is if there is anywhere
in JDK that we have these constant values stashed and yes, you can consult
javax.print.attribute.standard.MediaSize.ISO.A4
