[JAWS-Users] Jaws help question

2007-04-17 Thread Stu

Well folks I think I messed up something. I an using a 98 SE machine, Jaws
7.1. When I do a insert f2 and arrow down to frame viewer and enter and tab
to help and enter it says glossery page and i can't go any where after that.
So I do a insert j and bring up the context menu and arrow to jaws topics
and open that up and it says glossery page and I can't do any thing after
that. What have I done and how can I fix it?

I believe you are referring to IE 7.0, not windows XP. XP support goes all

Have you tried pressing ctrl tab to move between the different pages while
in Jaws help? If not, then try it and see if that solves your problem. The
page you should be on if you want to view the different books and topics in
the Tree View is the contents page.

[JAWS-Users] Re: Jaws help question

2007-04-17 Thread Flor Lynch

Go back to at highest JAWS7.0 and try that. (there is a specific non-XP
download - for Windows 98 and Millennium.) 7.1 saw the introduction of the
JAWS update feature which depends on the OS being (at least) Windows XP.
7.10 is not for anything lower than Windows XP.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws help question

Well folks I think I messed up something. I an using a 98 SE machine, Jaws
7.1. When I do a insert f2 and arrow down to frame viewer and enter and tab
to help and enter it says glossery page and i can't go any where after that.
So I do a insert j and bring up the context menu and arrow to jaws topics
and open that up and it says glossery page and I can't do any thing after
that. What have I done and how can I fix it?

[JAWS-Users] Re: updates to the programs page

2007-04-17 Thread David A Ferrin

So far none of that kind of information has managed to make it's way across
my desk unfortunately. Certainly when and if it ever does then of course
I'll post it up on the web.

David,
Do you have or know where to locate a tutorial for using a torrent client
with Jaws? I would be very interested. You have lots of really good
information on your site. I have been enjoying it. Thanks for all of the
time you put into maintaining it.

I've added another cleaning type program along with a time setting
 program.
They may be found under the internet heading. In fact they are the first
 two
links there. I will be adding more as the days and weeks go along here. I
 do
have a number of other files to place up there, it's just a matter of
 plugging away at the mound.
