Roger, thanks for letting us all know that another bug has been found in 8.0. I hope Freedom Scientific (or Freedom Science Fiction, smiles) fix this soon. Thanks again. Imagine my absolute dismay this morning when I switched on my computer and the only responses I got from jfw was that unknown function... nothing worked. left arrow, right arrow, say all, say line, nada. it would not respond to anything. In the end, I had to uninstall the whole jfw8 and reinstall. Of course I reverted to the first version of 8. Well I'm once again taking thunder bird around the block this morning and it's driving a little smoother now that I have the seat adjusted correctly along with a couple of other things. This is thanks to some coaching by Rick and a couple of lights coming on inside my head, no wonder I can't sleep at night it's too bright in there but I digress. Actually it seems to have it all and then some folks, I'm quite impressed. I noticed that you could have identities and virtually everything else that outlook express has and possibly even more. It might not replace my default email client but it's probably going on the road when we travel for sure. Who knows that audio tutorial maybe coming sooner than I thought, only time will tell. Well according to the web page where I got the thing It didn't really sound like all that much. The bugs it fixes aren't very common, as a result I say if the version you are using at this time is working perfectly for you then leave well enough alone. On the other hand if you are somebody who has trouble with the program in the past then possibly this update might just fix what ever issues you are experiencing. John, this may seem like a stupid question but I think I'll ask it anyway. Are you familiar with the Forms Mode function in Jaws? That's a recent development which allows you to complete forms or enter information into fields on the web. But it can be a royal pain in the rear if you aren't familiar with how it works. [JAWS-Users] Re: change synthesizer
Hi Barbara, When you get to that point, you need to press enter on the synthesizer you want, and it should become active. Alternatively, you can use the following keystrokes: Alt +L, for the language menu, then C, for change synthesizers, then S, for Sapi. To change back, you can do the same, useing the first letter of the synthesizer you want.
