[JAWS-Users] Do I need a new sound card?
The past couple weeks when using eloquence for Jaws, I get some static and popping sounds: particularly when Jaws stops speaking. I tried switching to sassy 5 and this is not happening there. Could this be an indication that my sound card is going? [JAWS-Users] Re: Links blocked by antivirus software.
Hi David. Unfortunately, control enter did nothing. ~Ken~ - Original Message - From: David Ferrin [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Sent: Sunday, December 31, 2006 5:47 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re: Links blocked by antivirus software. I believe the keystroke is control+enter, try that out. David Ferrin I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up too. [JAWS-Users] Re: Adjusting timeout setting on screensaver.
I couldn't agree with both of you more. How do I turn off or disable my screen saver? ~Ken~ - Original Message - From: Flor Lynch To: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Sent: Tuesday, December 26, 2006 7:19 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re: Adjusting timeout setting on screensaver. My opinion is, don't use any screensaver. They are no longer needed. And they do mess with JAWS focus stuff. - Original Message - From: kenh1114 To: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Sent: Tuesday, December 26, 2006 11:58 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Adjusting timeout setting on screensaver. After updating Windows, I get logged off of whatever screenname I'm using after just a couple minutes or inactivity. It's very frustrating because it throws Jaws all out of focus. What do I need to do to stay logged onto a screenname for a much more reasonable period of time?
