[JAWS-Users] skype version on the web site

2007-04-18 Thread Mike Welty

Hey all,
I notice the version of skype on the site is 2.5. Skype 3.1
works very well with the scripts I have. Could this be updated.
I have the scripts if anyone wants them. If you want a copy
please write me off list.
Thanks for reading.

If you would look just below skype 2.5 you will find 3.1 what ever the
 rest
of it is. Also the notation that scripts are available means go to the
scripts page and you will find them there.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] IE 7 and forms mode

I'm having a problem placing my e-mail address in forms on IE7.
When
submitting the form, I get a message like e-mail format is not
correct.
When I check my work I find that it is entered correctly. Last
week, when
trying to sign up to the Pac Mate list, I got the message that I
forgot the
@ (at) sign in the e-mail. Again, when I checked, the @@ sign
was there.
I'm using Jaws 8 with XP home and IE7. Any ideas what might be
happening
here?

Thanks for any help.
Mitch

[JAWS-Users] Re: Question about compacting messages in OE

something there that will help.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Question about compacting messages in OE

Hi folks,

I've gone thru every menu in Outlook Express I can find and tried
the HELP menu, but can't find a control panel for the Compacting
Messages function. For some reason, this once-rare pop-up box
now suddenly alerts me of its desire to compact messages every
other day. I don't get *that* many messages, and think a recent
bunch of MS updates might have triggered this increased mania to
compact away. I have plenty of empty HD space, so I can't figure
out any reason (other than the MS updates) why OE wants to up the
frequency of this function. Can anybody tell me where the menu
might be to control compacting, or even turn it off? Thanks.

Best,
Joe Monks

I think what they mean is the memory dump command, insert+control+f4.
The fbled sounds like they've typed the message using a Braille
keyboard and the Braille symbols got translated incorrectly.
