The obvious answer is if you don't know what it is then you most likely
don't need it. The first time you receive a document with a PDF extension
is when you will need it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Adobe Question
Hey Guys & Gals,
I have been hearing you guys talk about Upgrading to Adobe 8. I am not
familiar with this program
or it's functions. Is it necessary to have this program? I checked in
the programs that I have on
my computer and here's what I found.
I have Adobe Flash Player 9 Active X. This is listed 2 times in my
programs. Why is it there
twice? And what is it?
Also, it shows that I have Adobe Shock Wave Player. What is that and do I
need it?
Should I get rid of all of this stuff and go with the Adobe 8 that
everyone is talking about?
I apologize for my ignorance concerning this subject but I would really
like to know what this is
all about.
Maranatha,
Donnie
