[JAWS-Users] Re: Help with Deleted Items folder

2007-01-10 Thread Robert S. Batchelor
Locate the file again and do an applications key command and do a Move to
folder task. Make sure you have the folder created in you path before hand
in case it was removed in the accident.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Help with Deleted Items folder

By some inordinate amount of screwing up, I managed to delete a sub-folder,
namely, the Jaws Users folder of my Outlook Express sub-folders list.

I see the folder in the deleted items folder, and I have expanded the
deleted items folder to show it, but I don't know how to restore the folder.

Does anyone know how to restore the folder from the deleted items folder
back to it's original place?

I have tried the applications key and there is no option to restore it.

Please help?

Victor

Do a control shift v on the folder name, then specify where you want it sent
to.

[JAWS-Users] Re: Help with Deleted Items folder

2007-01-10 Thread Flor Lynch
Having hit ctrl+shift+v - the move to folder command for this sub-folder,
up-arrow to Local folders. Right-arrow to open it if is says, local folders
closed. Now tab into the list view. Now hit enter. Your folder will now be
in the tree view along with the Inbox, etc.

[JAWS-Users] Re: Help with Deleted Items folder

2007-01-10 Thread Victor Gouveia
Hi All,

thanks for the ideas, and I'm glad to say that it worked, well, sort of.

It wouldn't allow me to put the folder back in the local folders area, so I had
to put the folder in another one, but that's o.k.

Suffice it to say that the e-mails I saved with such nice tidbits is saved from
deletion.

Thanks to all who responded, and to Bob, the happy moderator who took action on
this as quickly as a horny toad in a room full of rocking chairs...Oops, sorry,
wrong analogy...smile.
