Subject: [JAWS-Users] MS Word formatting

Good morning all,

Figured I'd drop the group a quick note and questions before departing for
work. Yesterday I was working on a rather long and extensive MS Word
document at work and had to make many changes in one section. The problem
I

was having was the section contained a lot of special text formatting,
indents, etc. I got very frustrated trying to block the section and just
make it all plain text and start over. What I finally did was block and
copy the section, saved it as plain text, and then copied and pasted it
back

into the document. My question is: Is there a quick way in Word 2000 to
block a section of text and remove ALL formatting etc?

thanks
Al

[JAWS-Users] Re: MS Word formatting

2007-01-18 Thread Negoslav Sabev

Hello Al.

I never used MS Word 2000 but I can tell you how to remove the formatting of
surtain block of text in MS Word 2003. First you have to select the
formatted text. Than go to Format menue and enter on stiles and formatting.
In my kase the task pain opens and I have some choices there. I use the up
and down arrow to go to clear formatting and press enter there. The job is
done. Another way to do this is to go to text with the formatting you want
to apply and press Ctrl.+shift+c to copy the formatting and then select the
section witch format you want to change and just press ctrl.+shift+v. Again
the job is done. I think this way should work if you have jaws 7.0 and above
. I use MS Word 2003 Jaws 7.10 and Windows XP pro.

Hope this helps.
Negoslav
