Re: [JAWS-Users] Using JAWS for Downloading & Ripping

2008-10-15 Thread Andrew Head

No! you don't need j-say for itunes.
j-say is a program that links jaws and dragon naturally speaking together so
you can control your computer via voice. it works very effectively in word,
outlook and internet explorer.
if you want to use itunes, the latest version is more accessible than other
versions. the program that makes itunes even more accessible is j-tunes.

go to:
www.tandt-consultancy.com
here you can read all about the benefits of using j-tunes with itunes and
what extra functionality you can use with itunes if you have j-tunes.

hope this helps,
from Andrew

Re: [JAWS-Users] skype scripts corrupted

2008-10-15 Thread Flor Lynch
Your problem may be the Skype program itself, as that is what the error
indicates. Did you run your reinstalled Skype successfully before executing
the scripts? Into which version of JAWS did you put the scripts? You might
need to uninstall Skype, or uninstall the scripts,
or both Skype and the scripts, then reinstall.

I recently downloaded and reinstall skype. So, I atempted to install
Revision 642 executable installer scripts and got the folowing message:

 Skype
Error: Unfortunately the Skype executable is corrupted. Please re-install.
OK

Now I can not launch skype from the desktop. Where can I locate where the
skype scripts were executed so I can delete them. Or, perhaps someone has a
better solution. Thanks.

trade.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Using JAWS for Downloading & Ripping

Hi; I am not a particularly ambitious computer user.I use mine to keep in
touch with friends, contribute to a couple of forums and run my small
business.

I have a laptop with Jaws 5, Windows XP home and IE6. There are a couple of
things I would like to be able to do and wonder what is the best software
for me to use whilst keeping my current versions of Jaws, XP and IE.

I want to download music tracks.both oldies and up to date.

I want to be able to rip songs from CD to MP3.I have a Pro Dub licence so I
can do this legally!

There's prob more later but for now if anyone knows of easy to use
programmes for me that would be fantastic.

Cheers in anticipation

Andy
