[JAWS-Users] Wordpress version 2.5
Hi listers: I've recently started learning about how to blog. I'm taking an Internet course using Wordpress. I started out using Wordpress 2.9 but found out from the instructor that version 2.5 is much easier to use with adaptive equipment. She let me try out a modified version of 2.5 on her site and it is easier to navigate with JAWS. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this version? I checked out wordpress.org, but all they offer is the latest version. Why would anyone make a newer version less adaptable? Anyway, if anyone knows where I can find, or can get me a copy of version 2.5 let me know off list. [JAWS-Users] question on pre-loaded back up/sync software on Seagate FreeAgent Go 1 TB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive and jaws
Hello list, I am looking to buy the Seagate FreeAgent Go 1 TB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive and was wondering if anyone's had a chance to deal with the included synchronization software that comes with it? Drives I've had in the past have come with back up/sync programs and for the most part, they havent' been that accessible. Memio comes to mind. In any event, I was just curious if from other's experiences if this pre-loaded software is pretty much the same or if it's more manageable with Jaws. Wow, that is the first time I saw a portable USB drive, which does not need a separate power cord, in a size larger than 750 MB. Very tempting! [JAWS-Users] Troubles with JAWS and AIM
Hello, I am using JAWS 11 with Windows 7 Ultimate. I am unable to get JAWS to work with AIM. Whenever I am in a conversation window I can not use the Alt+1 through Alt+0 to read the conversation. The computer just dings when I hit it. If I hit the keystroke twice quickly, JAWS states that the Conversation Window could not be found. I am using version 6 of AIM. I have tried version 7 along with different versions of 6 with no luck. I have uninstalled and Installed JFW and everything I could think of, but still it will not work. I saw it on amazon, but New Egg, Tiger Direct Buy.com and so on carry it too. Just copy and paste the following into either Amazon's search field or any old search engine: Seagate FreeAgent Go 1 TB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive I've got about 900 gb of stuff and I'm looking for a back up for my other external drive and figured why not get a portable one instead of another power cord desk top set up type of deal. That's why I'm interested in this particular model. I believe Western Digital has a portable drive with the same capacity, but the SeaGate has better reviews. The back up program is the only thing I wanted a bit more information. Other then that, it looks like a solid buy. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of ken d Sent: Friday, February 19, 2010 2:08 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] question on pre-loaded back up/sync softwareon Seagate FreeAgent Go 1 TB USB 2.0 Portable ExternalHard Drive and jaws I, also, am interested.
