Be leave me its not your settings that are bouncing you.\
I belong to a few list from ACB and all of them bounce me for having
a full mail box. I have brought it up to them so many times that its
funny. The funny part is I also belong to yahoo groups, google groups
and freelist. None of these list are bouncing and my mail is removed
off the server every 30 minutes.
Who ever runs the lists for ACB either don't watch the server, don't
know what they are doing, or have very cheap software that is pure junk!
The reason I can say that is if your subscribed to a list and getting
the email regularly. Then all at once you don't and nothing has
changed on your end to email or programs scanning email. It is always
the server side where the break is and they just don't want to admit
they screwed up.

that I call roadrunner and ask if they had a setting that I could
change which might prevent me from being bouncedoff this list on a
continuing basis. The guy who answered the call said that it might
have somthing to do with a setting in my norton antivirus 2009 which
I received as a gift from my friend on my birthday last year. I
even asked him if there was a setting on there end which might be
causing this problem, and he told me that they hadn't changed any
settings on there end to cause a customer not to beable too
receive or block any email addresses that they send email from. I
at this point in time, don't really know what else to do.

[JAWS-Users] F.S. Policy was: Please, I need the keystroke for virtualizing window.

2010-04-04 Thread Steve
This is why it befuddles me about Freedom Scientific's decision to
constantly re-assign keystrokes when they update Jaws and come out with new
features. It would seem to be a lot less confusing had they left the
virtualize command alone and assigned the word list to a different
keystroke. They've have made other key re-assignments in earlier versions.
Just seems it would be more customer-focused and user-friendly if they would
refrain from such re-assignments.

[JAWS-Users] possible work-around for when seeing no links on a web page

2010-04-04 Thread Joanne
Well it keeps happening with more and more consistency--that problem of opening
a Web page and not being able to find links. I know others made suggestions
such as turning off and on virtual cursor or refreshing page. These have
worked at times, but I found something else that I don't know whether or not
this has been discussed. Lately I started just plain leaving the window--just
alt-tabbing to something else for a minute or so. Then when I alt-tab back to
my Internet page the links seem to be there. I don't know if this is
fool-proof and would work consistently for everyone, but this seems to be the
method that works most of the time for me. I am hoping this is on topic, as it
seems that the newer versions of Jaws have caused these blank pages to happen
more often. But just thought I'd share what seems to be working well here as
far as being able to see Web pages instead of just seeing them blank.

Hi John,
The proper keystroke has already been posted,
and you are right, it is not in the list of keystrokes presented with the
Insert + H command.
However, if you go to the help topics, and then to Jaws keystrokes, and
select the miscellaneous keystrokes, you will find it, along with others.

I probably should have said that consulting the Jaws help topics
will provide answers to many questions about Jaws.
I didn't know what the keystroke was either, I had to look it up.

Just do a insert + 1 and then do the insert + control + w or insert + alt +w.
That will tell you actually just what the key stroke does.
