Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws 11 not reading text in eddit fields in OE or IE 6.
Hi Mich, Just for clarification, Outlook Express goes by version number, not the year. The last version of Outlook Express is 6. Try making sure your system is configured for optimal use with Jaws, by looking at the instructions on the jaws-users website, and then making sure that the window you are working in is maximized. The m4r extension is for iPhone ring tones and thus not recognized by GoldWave. Rename the file to use M4A as the extension. Since the M4R is actually just a M4A (MPEG4 audio file) this should work just fine. I guess Goldwave handles M4A files. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Patti Sent: 27. mars 2011 13:57 To: Jaws Subject: [JAWS-Users] Converting to a mp3 Hey Gang, Does any one know what I could use to convert a file M4R to mp3? Re: [JAWS-Users] Converting to a mp3
Using format factory is quite simple. First make sure the format factory window is maximized. Now you must route jaws to pc and I would start from the top of the window and then read down line-by-line. Since you are wanting to work with an audio file, arrow down until you hear all to mp3 and then perform a left mouse click. Next in the resultin window, tab until you hear add file button and press the spacebar. Now shift-tab twice into your list of folders and find the file you would like to convert. Once you find the audio file that you would like to convert, tab until it says open button and press enter or spacebar. After doing this: now tab until you get to the ok button and press enter or the spacebar. Lastly, route jaws to pc and read line-by-line until you get to tasks and perform a left mouse click. In the resultin window there will be a start converting option and press enter. Now it will begin converting and once its done, you will hear some sort of sound indicating so but if you are not sitting by the computer while it converts like I do at times, just route jaws to pc and read the bottom of the window where it will give you the time. If the time doesn't change then its finished. You can find the converted file in your my documents folder in a folder called FFOutput. Hope this helps. Take care. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Patti Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2011 11:07 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Converting to a mp3 Do you have any instructions to use this converter? Re: [JAWS-Users] Converting to a Mp3
Yes Al, it says star, but when I go to find the M4A it doesn't show up in the list in my documents. I see mp3's but not the m4a. Patti Patty, Gold wave does convert M4a to MP3 as I do it all the time. Make sure your file selection to show files is set to *.* Al -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com]On Behalf Of Patti Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2011 1:58 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Converting to a mp3 I changed the M4R to M4A, and then I opened up Gold Wave, but the file wasn't in there, so I guess gold wave doesn't use that M4A file. Is there anything else I could do? Patti The m4r extension is for iPhone ring tones and thus not recognized by GoldWave.
