Hi,
To kill skype, in the Skype window, press alt+shift+f4 twice quickly.
You can do this only with the JAWS scripts by Dug Lee.

The way I can shut Skype off is by the right-click button on Skype in the
system Tray, and then arrow to and activate the ~Quit button.

I updated and installed the latest version of Skype. However when
going to the link for the latest jaws skype scripts from the jaws
users mailing list page I either get a blank page or the page can not
be found message. How can I get the most recent Jaws skype scripts?
Also, when I sign out of skype and try to close the program it won't
close unless I reboot my computer.

2011-07-06 Thread Victoria Vaughan
Thanks Steve, Since you don't think that Bluetooth has any real advantages
and my computer person says some of the people he works with have had some
types of trouble with them, I think I'll go wireless again.

However, my cellphone does not have a querty keyboard, but can handle
Bluetooth, and I do have a Bluetooth keyboard I bought to go with my
Trekker. Do you think I can get that keyboard to work with my cellphone? My
cellphone is a Nokia N86.

No real advantage unless you have other devices you might want to use
blue-tooth with like a cell phone that supports an external blue-tooth
keyboard.

One slight disadvantage: If you have a desktop or older laptop, it may not
have blue-tooth in which case you'll need to install a blue-tooth adapter.
Then, you'll have to pair the keyboard with it, but you normally only have
to do that once.

You probably will have similar range using wireless or blue-tooth.

I'm using outlook Express, but it'd be in a similar (view) menu or
Ribbon. Look in there. it has to do with Windows encoding. there may be
an Encoding submenu, which lists all the windows encoding types. the one
I have checked is Western European iso, and I never have the problem
(although I've heard of it in the past from people who had. that's the
way towards the solution. If not in the view menu, then look in others.
the view ribbon?)
