Re: [JAWS-Users] Browser fix with Jaws 12
There is a difference between F5 on its own and Control+F5. the Control+F5 does a refresh from the Web, while the former does a refresh from the browser cache. - Original Message - From: MeeshHosk michelle_pi...@comcast.net To: jaws jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, November 08, 2011 8:07 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Browser fix with Jaws 12 Hi guys, First, I refreshed the web by pressing f5 and then when that didn't work I used insert esc and hoped that would refresh my IE. Hopefully, this works but, if not do the following. go to your internet , it did not take for me when I did it in my control Panel . Go to your internet options by pressing alt T for tools and O for options.turned the page by pressing control and tab, do this six times to the advanced setting page. Tab till it says reset... button and hit enter. Remove your history when it takes you to your reset page. You will need to check the box to remove your history, otherwise you will just keep recycling. Your internet has to be restarted, so I just got out of all my programs and restarted my computer. When it came back up I could browse again.Meesh Good Luck God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the weaponry to make a difference. [JAWS-Users] viewing emails in outlook
Hi all, I am using jaws 13 and Microsoft outlook 2010. Some emails, such as those from facebook are difficult to read now and are presented in some sort of table structure and jaws speaks a message that says: For best results, press the letter H then A and V Is there anyway of stopping this? Do I have to change something in the view menu? A friend suggested this. If anyone has any info that would be greatly appreciated please. Ah forgot to say, this is on a windows 7 pro machine. [JAWS-Users] changing the state of unread emails in outlook and reordering messages
Hi again, I now have two accounts in outlook, my bigpond and gmail account. I forgot how to do this, in the gmail account any message I select that is unread, when I next arrow to it, it appears unread. I would like to change this so the message only becomes unread when I press enter to open it. Also, how do you change the view so instead of newer messages at the top, oldest are displayed first and I arrow down to newer messages?
