It is Ctrl Shift V to move the message. Also, once you move
a message to a folder you can use the application key and
scroll to move and it keeps a current list of folders that
you have moved things to. You can select it in the future to
more quickly move email messages.

hi all,
   I was on the

JFWLITE.COM

looking for an add block software. I came across a piece of software I've
also used in the past found very helpful, named addshield.
I tried to visit the software homepage, however, it was unavailable.
seems the company's gone out of business. an effort to look through
search engines came up with nothing!

   any ideas?
also, could you suggest any add block filter software for IE9 on
windows7 ultimate? if possible, I also want to be able to block the text
adds that flash into inline frames, such as Google addsense adds much
more.

   thank you,

[JAWS-Users] Audio chat with AIM and Windows 7

2011-12-20 Thread Josh Eubank
Listers,

Both this afternoon and Last night I have been attempting to do an audio IM
session with AIM on my new laptop. When I do it on my desktop with Vista I
hear a ringing phone sound and while that's happening JAWS says waiting to
establish connection with your buddy. Well, on my laptop running Windows 7 64
bit, JAWS told me that same message, wating to establish a connection with your
buddy but I didn't hear the ringing phone sound and whenever I tabbed I lost
JAWS along with all functionality even though the computer was still on, and in
fact the only way I can get things back and running is to hold the power button
down till the machine powers off on it's own. I don't like having to force a
shut down like that but having no vision, if I don't have JAWS I'm lost as I'm
sure you can understand. I just hope I'm not harming the computer by doing
that, sure am not trying to. I have restarted it and tried the audio IM
feature multiple times with the same result. Any idea as to why this is
happpening or things I could try? Thanks.

Josh

Hi,
Windows XP and probably other versions of Windows have the Character Map.
You can get to it by going into the start menu and going to programs and
then accessories and then system tools.
When you get to system tools, you hit right arrow to go into that menu and
then arrow down until you hear the words character map. I think that it is
the first option in that menu.

Thanks,

there is a parallel in older windows versions, called the character
viewer, it can be used to select and insert symbols into a document.

I used it once years back and had minimal success since it was written
for visual use, and didn't merge well with a screen reader.

if its in the newer windows versions I have no clue, but if you queried
the Microsoft database I bet they can find out along with notes on how
to use it.
