Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows 8 JAWS questions

2012-10-30 Thread david
Hello;
Yes, I'm using windows8, on a duel boot, with windows 7,
However, I chose to use Microsoft outlook 2010.
Actually, windows 8 isn't really that difficult to use.
For many of the settings, you can setup the windows 8 machine, just like
windows 7.
The big difference is, there's no start menu.

[JAWS-Users] Intranet Labor Claiming

2012-10-30 Thread Marek Durila
Hi all,
Somebody probably know the ILMC.
It is used for working purposes evidence how many hours you worked,
vacation, overtime etc.
Main problem is, that in XP it spoke great only the speaking was slower.
But in Win 7 64 bit doesn't speak any dialogue. Did somebody tried and if
yes, what must be set? Because I don't remember, that in XP I changed some
layout.

Oh, it's not exactly the same, but it mostly is and although it doesn't
say edit search or whatever it did in 7, if I just start typing what I
want as soon as I press the Windows key, it turns search on. I'm going
to try Outlook as I really don't like TB much because of issues. Really
wanted to use Windows Mail, but not since it won't echo anything when am
typing in a new message with JAWS or NVDA, I won't be using it and hope
that gets corrected with an update.
