I started a file on routers quite some time ago and sadly it has not been
added to since almost the beginning.

So I put it to the membership again to submit the make and model of your
respective routers that you have found accessible to me directly so I may
compile them in to a list for posting. This is information I feel we all can
benefit from, thanks in advance.

Hi Nicole

Your original question was:

What are Jaws-compatable terrabites?

So, what exactly are you asking? A terrabyte is a measurement of storage
amount equal to roughly 1,000 gigabytes. Are you wanting to know what is
compatible to a terrabyte in size? If not, you will need to explain
yourself into more depth.

I am not trying to be a smart ass but, like other list members, just trying
to understand your question.

Take care.

I know my uncle will do the transferring, but I'm sure I'll want to put
things on there. My plan is once he transfers everything, to delete what I
don't want and copy things to my enternal hard drive. If I don't put new
things on the external, I at least want to finally back up my drive on
something other that a CD.

ah, now you have cleared things up, most of us probably haven't herd of that
particular drive so you need to be more clear in your questions, which is
what David was trying to tell you

I work in the hardware industry and have never herd of that drive.

for the main part you would be easier to use windows explorer to move data,
or a backup program that you know is accessible.

Microsoft sync toy works, Karen's replacator works good for non-operating
system data copying, and just copying and pasting the various folders from
the computer to the drive works alright as well, if you don't mind doing the
work by hand.

Take care.

Well, all the Terabite thing means is that the My Passport has 2000
gigabites. So the terabite thing doesn't mater when it comes to Jaws. I'm
just saying incase no one has explained the terabite thing to you. It just
means you'll have 2000 gigabites of memory. The software is the problem, and
I guess some of it does work with JAWS from what I've been reading here, I

message from your computer or did somebody ask you this? If you have a
external drive that is 1 or 2 or however many terrabytes, the whole thing
can be read by Jaws. Who wants to know this from you? Trying to understand

Take care.

a sound card, and it's what's called an SSD or Solid State drive. It
literally is like a flash or thumb drive. This one has 12 terabites.tThat

with most CD's you will need an intervening step, since files on
professional CD's are in .cda and players can use several but not that
one.

now then you could setup a CD ripping program to take, convert and
transfer

them to the player, and move the rip to setting when necessary.

I normally rip to my computer, so I have a copy of the songs I want, and
then move the ripped mp3's to my backup server/drives and my player, but I
do know that I could set up my ripper, CDEX to rip, convert and place them
on another drive (which your player will register as).

if your working with an iPod you will need to do the three stage transfer
though, most rippers will require this to move from .cda to .m4a.

I want an efficient way to transfer/copy music from my CD's on to an MP3

Is there a program to do this quickly/easily?
Do you have to burn the music on the hard drive first, or is there some
