interest to upgrade your browser. For example my wife goes to the USA

is running IE 8 on an XP system at least for now. It is being considered to

able to navigate around as far as shopping and such. Now it seems when I go
to activate a order button it does nothing at all. Also when filling in a
form say to create a new account and the form field is on, it won't read
what I typed in or things are getting put in the wrong places etc. I
certainly have had the experience of a website updating their website and
so-called improving it to my detriment

As far as accessibility is concerned, but I just wondered if when there is
a windows update does that ever mess with jaws and its capability to handle
these things? I have Windows 7, and IE 8. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

We all have to remember that in Windows and applications that run on this
platform there is quite often several ways of doing the same thing. Which
option is best is always up to the person and his or her preferred way of
doing things.

You're welcome, now myself I make the changes once then forget them where
somebody else would probably choose to do them on the fly so to speak.
Neither method is wrong, it is just personal choice.

[JAWS-Users] Jaws doesn't loadup after windows starts

Hello listers,
I have the latest Jaws and Windows 8 64.
When windows starts Jaws doen’t start automaticaly. I have to use the run
dialog to get it running. I have it as ‘run as administrator’ is this right?
I I am using a dungle as the uathorization key. I thought about using the Jaws
repaire, but I don’t remember how to do it.
I got the run always as soon as Windows is loged on.
Another posibility I thought of is, that my Avast antivirus is blocking it. I
don’t remember either how to unblock the program.
I hope someone can give me hand on this.
Thank you in advance. Regards,

Press Alt D to get to the address bar of the folder.

Hit the backslash key, which is right above the enter key on the right.
Press the down arrow until you hear your document.

[JAWS-Users] Thunderbird for email

2013-07-11 Thread wayne smith
Hello-

I currently use Outlook 2007 for my emails. It works well in most areas. I
am using Windows 7 64bit and JAWS 14 (latest).

I want to open a completely separate email for work and I don't want the
messages just going into another folder in Outlook. It would be confusing.
I have heard about something called Thunderbird that I was told is
accessible and works like Outlook for receiving and organizing emails. I
tried going to Thunderbird.com but I got a real-estate company.

Can a Thunderbird user confirm if it is accessible for receiving and
managing emails with JAWS, and, if it is, where do I get it?

Thanks in advance,

Wayne

This is another way that all could use.
Been on the folder or file that we need to know the path, just press F4, and
we will be on the path of that folder or file.

Look for Mozilla Thunderbird.
Yes it is very accessible with a couple of inconveniences.
But then most things are that way.

You could also create profiles in Outlook. Think of them like identities in
outlook express. I have considered doing a tutorial on this subject but so
far haven't got around to doing it unfortunately.

I believe there is a text file on this subject on the tips and tricks page.
