Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] Re: need help installing Goldwave scripts

2016-05-30 Thread Robert Arrabito
Hi Mario,

Many thanks for getting back to me. I did press insert plus q and was told
that the default scripts were loaded.

I also note that within the enu folder there is a folder called
PersonalizedSettings so I closed Goldwave and then moved the Goldwave
scripts from Enu to this folder. I then ran Goldwave and pressed insert plus
q and again was told that the default scripts were loaded.

Rob

Rob, sorry for responding late, but if you press insert+q, are you told that
the default settings are loaded? if so, the scripts weren't recognized
correctly. this is the first step in troubleshooting this kind of issue.

Hi all,

I am having problems installing the Goldwave scripts for JFW 17 on my 64-bit
Windows 7 PC. I am running Goldwave 6.22 and downloaded the latest Goldwave
scripts contained in file goldwave_5-6_jaws_scripts_2_0.zip.

I unpacked the zip file and placed the contents in folder:

C:\Users\My User Name\AppData\Roaming\Freedom
Scientific\JAWS\17.0\Settings\enu

I then ran Goldwave and the scripts do not work. I would greatly appreciate
any advice. Thanks.

Regards,

Rob

[JAWS-Users] say all

2016-05-30 Thread leonard morris
I am using the most current jaws v17 and windows seven. I've notice when
reading using say all command in IE11 or Thunderbird Jaws will stop
periodically reading. I first thought perhaps I was not holding down the
keycommand long enough but I am still getting this behavior.

My appologies, I was still thinking of win 8 even though the person stated
clearly win 10.

Tom,

Not sure about that. My IT folks at work set up my laptop, and had both McAfee
and Defender installed and running. Each had its strengths and weaknesses.

MalWare Bytes scan option is available but Windows Defender is not.

Or how do any programs get under application key?
Thanks,
