Ultra host just merged with another company.
I've used ultra host for my wrestling site and the other site I have which I
have yet touched.

It's run by a blind fella, good guy. Went to highschool with him.

Hi, I am thinking of getting my own domain, but I seem to remember a
discussion a while back on this list about what domain registry websites are
most accessible.

I can't find the thread, so can someone tell me what registry sites are
best?

Thanks,

Don

[JAWS-Users] Password screen still not working

2018-05-08 Thread miketmote73
Hi folks! I'm using the latest build of JAWS 2018, along with the latest
build of Windows 10, and I still get no consistency with respect to JAWS
speaking at the log on screen. This is getting to the point of annoying.
Most times I have to start Narrator in order to log into my computer.

Also, if I change my password for Office 365, and then try to log onto the
Outlook desktop application, it crashes, the first time. When I relaunch
the program, I have to press Insert plus F10 to find the Windows security
option. I am able to find where to type in my Password, but the behavior is
inconsistent. I'm hoping the engineers at VFO will address this issue soon.

Hey Dnnis.

I went to the link you provided, and it certainly did begin playing
automatically, and the muting was done on my end, not theirs. But if it's
working for you now, that's good stuff.

They actually made improvements this morning long story short it will be
muted by default that is why there is that link there for screen reader
users that will not be muted.

Hey Dennis.

Using Firefox 52 ESR, it's actually playing automatically for me. I had to
press ctrl-m to mute it so I could listen to JAWS and search around for the
video player frame. But, using JAWS 18, I cannot seem to locate this. There
are some unlabeled buttons, but from what I can tell, they aren't for the
video player at all.

I noticed a link at the bottom of the page that says, "blind/screenreader
users, click here to view our live broadcast", or something like that. I
don't really know why this should make a difference. I mean, I clicked on
it, but the thing was playing anyway, and I still did not locate buttons to
adjust volume, mute/unmute, etc.

Now, since yours is not playing by default, and mine doesperhaps you
could try in a different browser, and see if you can at least get it to
play.

[JAWS-Users] Checking braille display model

2018-05-08 Thread Negoslav Sabev
Hello,

A friend is wanting to sale me his Focus 40 braill display but he doesn”t
remember its model. I have the serial number but I don’t know how to check the
model to be able to negotiate the price. Is there a way to check the display
model by the serial number?
