Re: [JAWS-Users] accessible domain registrar
Ultra host just merged with another company. I've used ultra host for my wrestling site and the other site I have which I have yet touched. It's run by a blind fella, good guy. Went to highschool with him. I can't find the thread, so can someone tell me what registry sites are best? [JAWS-Users] Password screen still not working
Hi folks! I'm using the latest build of JAWS 2018, along with the latest build of Windows 10, and I still get no consistency with respect to JAWS speaking at the log on screen. This is getting to the point of annoying. Most times I have to start Narrator in order to log into my computer. Also, if I change my password for Office 365, and then try to log onto the Outlook desktop application, it crashes, the first time. When I relaunch the program, I have to press Insert plus F10 to find the Windows security option. I am able to find where to type in my Password, but the behavior is inconsistent. I'm hoping the engineers at VFO will address this issue soon. For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] help needed with a website and its video player please
Hey Dnnis. I went to the link you provided, and it certainly did begin playing automatically, and the muting was done on my end, not theirs. But if it's working for you now, that's good stuff. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Dennis Long Sent: May 8, 2018 3:33 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] help needed with a website and its video player please They actually made improvements this morning long story short it will be muted by default that is why there is that link there for screen reader users that will not be muted. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of JM Casey Sent: Tuesday, May 8, 2018 3:14 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] help needed with a website and its video player please Hey Dennis. But, using JAWS 18, I cannot seem to locate this. There are some unlabeled buttons, but from what I can tell, they aren't for the video player at all. I noticed a link at the bottom of the page that says, "blind/screenreader users, click here to view our live broadcast", or something like that. I don't really know why this should make a difference. I mean, I clicked on it, but the thing was playing anyway, and I still did not locate buttons to adjust volume, mute/unmute, etc. Now, since yours is not playing by default, and mine doesperhaps you could try in a different browser, and see if you can at least get it to play. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Dennis Long Sent: May 7, 2018 9:21 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] help needed with a website and its video player please Importance: High Hi, can anyone help please the website is Fox2detroit.com/live There is a player the stream is muted by default getting to this unmute button is the problem.
