Re: [JAWS-Users] Actions recommended
Hi, This is the icon of the Windows Defender Security Center. Besides the Antivirus component, this new app gives recommendations on performance and security settings in general, as well as for missing drivers. Unless you don't have another antivirus than Windows Defender, recommendations of this app are not very useful. They are about things you can configure in Settings and Control Panel or for Store/UWP apps. The options you describe are not recommended actions, but the context menu of this icon. To see the report of which areas have recommended actions to apply, ignore or learn more about them, simulate a left double click on the icon and use the Touch Cursor. Hope it helps! 2018-07-11 17:33 GMT-03:00 Maria Campbell : > I see in my system tray actions recommended that include run a quick scan, > view security dashboard, whatever that is, view notification options and > check for protection updates. [JAWS-Users] Actions recommended
I see in my system tray actions recommended that include run a quick scan, view security dashboard, whatever that is, view notification options and check for protection updates. So what does all that mean and what do I do next? This just showed up after I updated Windows today. Thanks for any assistance. -- Maria Campbell lucky1i...@gmail.com "Preach the Gospel, and when necessary use words!" --St. Francis For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
[JAWS-Users] JAWS Repair
Morning all. I know that this subject has been posted here previously, but please forgive my memory lapses. Using JAWS 2018 and Windows 10 on a Dell laptop, can anyone supply me with the instructions for doing a JAWS repair? Also, using Word 13, is there a way to create an editable form? Thanks in advance. [JAWS-Users] windows 10 questions
Hi. got a Toshiba satellite p6t, came with windows 7 64 bit pro, and got windows 10 64 bit pro, latest update. Need some information or some questions answered. 1. Why do I not get the windows update in action centre? 2. Why is the group edit and set windows to notify me of a download and then ask, says enabled, but not enabled. 3. I cannot uninstall my universal apps, as don't want groove music, alarms, and mail and calender. Don't use them. But no uinstall, is there a way to do this. 4. Also in the windows updates, get the play video button, and what's new, how do I hide that. Thanks for any help. Did try googling, but could not seem to find an answer.
