Re: [JAWS-Users] My control key m, that is used for checking mail isn't working.

2009-05-13 Thread Jeffrey Shockley, School Laptop Edition

Hi,
I don't think anything is wrong. To me, it just sounds like it is doing the
action you are requesting it to do, it's just that JAWS might not catch that
progress message since it only briefly appears on the screen so JAWS may not
see it because it's doing it so fast.

I hope this makes since,

working.

Good morning everyone.

Before I switched from verizons dsl service to that of time warners
roadrunner service, after I made the switch, I noticed that when I press
the control key m combination which is supposed too be the one that checks
for any incomingmail, after I press it, their's no message that says,
checking for messages on acut...@nyc.rr.com. I have my email set too
check for messages every minute. But when I had service through verizon,
that didn't matter, as it would check for messages anyway. Could this
have anything to do with roadrunner service? or is there a setting that
Needs too be changed under tools options.

Hello all,
What is the jaws keystroke that will put your keyboard in learning mode?
What I want to do is hit any key, or keystroke and have jaws announce the
key or keystroke and what it does. This will help me learn where some of
the keys are on a laptop since some of them are different the my desktop
keyboard.

Take care,

I've had that problem. The only way I know of to abe able to open them is to
go into the JAWS10 or whatever version number it is on the thumb drive, and
then, open the Help folder, and then, all the Help files will be there.

The only free space I am aware of is the space that many ISPs offer included
in their email packages. There are a number of lower cost plans out there.
This list and everything that goes along with it is hosted on Hurricane
Host.

 Hello list,

I just created few web pages, and now I would like to post them. Is
there any free web hosting website accessible with Jaws?

I used notepad to write css code, html code with capital and small
 letters.

Please let me know if you have any good suggestions.

 Zaheer Sheikh
