When encountering a page with hundreds either by visiting a blog posting with hundreds of responces or if I'm searching for an item to buy and want all results shown on one page or again, if I'm in Google Reader and press the navigation button to have all my subscriptions appear (I have over 240 rss feeds for example(, JFW will become quite unresponsive and at times crash on me. Many times I almost have to step away from my machine since Jaws wont' even speak if I do an alt+tab to go to another app. This is especially an issue for me as I help my wife with her eBay store and when going into the seller's page, it takes forever for Jaws to talk. That is if I'm in fact lucky and JFW doesn't crash all together. I don't have this problem in IE8. I really started noticing this issue with JFW 11 and still with version 12. 4. I had reported a problem when upgrading from JFW 10 to 11 with all the information in my e-mails through Outlook 2003 (from, subject, date etc) being spoken twice when arrowing up and down the list view. I was able to reproduce this problem with the escalations department (Inquiry Number: 197907), but never got a solution to it. The same problem is present in version 12. I like the way how the configuration manager has been cleaned up and Firefox feels generally crisper than in versions past. Google Voice seems to be a lot cleaner through Mozilla than with IE. Not too easy if at all when trying to make calls through the gmail page itself

Usually if there is a tool bar, the jaws command insert key plus F8 might invoke a tool bar.But you may still be able to use the program using the jaws cursor to help you find out about the program and if there might be tool bars or a menue bar and short cut keys. I would use the jaws cursor and look around the top of the page to see if you have some tool bar or menue bar at the top of the page. You could try using the alt key to see if it brings up a menue bar so you can arrow around and see if there are some keyboard commands to invoke actions. You might find the programs help file and read it using the jaws cursor. Have a play about with those, accessible with the tab key, and see what you can come up with. As for the message about the unregistered version, this is normal and is reminding you what you will experience in the unregistered version. After all they don't want you to get away with using it for free without the noise, but at the same time they like to warn you in case you or anyone else hears a very loud random sound when playing back the recording. So what they do is remind you each time you start the program. Now, once you have registered this message will not pop up again because, well, there will be no random sounds in any of your recordings. Hope this helps. I use to do this until I've ran in to a virus that really did some damage to my computer! I had to reinstall my computer! At that time I didn't know anything about Anti Viruses or Anti Spy-ware programs! That is why I don't download anything for free or that I don't trust! What I do is look on the internet and if its free I ask the lists if they hurd of it before and if they did and if it is safe then I will download it other wise I won't! So what I am trying to say here is for those people who don't have an Anti Virus run to the computer stores and get an Anti Virus! Or their are some free ones! While I can not speak to every website, programs found at: www.blind-computing.com and www.jaws-users.com have been tested not only for compatibility with Jaws, but also scanned for viruses etc. Keep in mind, that security software will sometimes render false positives, that is why it is recommended to never run a program from it's destination, but, instead, download and scan the file first. I had to repair JAWS and when I did I went to google in IE and to my surprise google came up with another results that I didn't want. I was going to search for something.
