Re: [JAWS-Users] Mobile intel4 express chipset with Jaws13
Hi Istvan, Try upgrading to the lateist version of Jaws 13.0.718 and see if that will fix your problems. Regards Owen. - Original Message - From: Velegi István ivel...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Friday, March 09, 2012 1:43 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Mobile intel4 express chipset with Jaws13 Hi All, Since I've been using windows 7 on my laptop with Jaws12 an 13.0, I am facing a strange problem. 1. If I want to get Jaws working well I have to install it prior to the video driver. If I install the Intel driver first, I can't read edit boxes correctly. 2. When I am using firefox for browsing it often happens that I have to refresh manually after going to another part of a certain website. 3. It often happens that in firefox Jaws doesn't recognize frames at all or just says for example Main frame, main frame end without reading its contents. Again in firefox, in my router's configuration page jaws doesn't recognize the system log edit box which i Suppose is a simple, read only textarea. In explorer the above things are right but I don't like Ie because it's much slower than firefox. In thunderbird it often happens that Jaws sais blank for the message writing field. However, it's interesting that if I go to another open window than back to the thunderbird, everything is okay. If you have any idea how I could solve these problems, please, let me know. Currently I am using Jaws 13.0.527 on a 32 bit system with mobile Intel 4 express chipset. I have just reinstalled windows but it didn't help either. Thanks in advance.
