[JAWS-Users] accessibility problems with Office 365
Good morning all, I don't know if these kind of problems is something that is due to my ignorance, or maybe because a problem with the accessibility on Office 365 (2013 version downloadable). I am etting some problems in several computers, at home and in my office with Office 365. The problems are severals, and I think that the version of office 2013 professional, and the version office 365, are very similar, but are different in some little things. For example when I read the FS training for power point 2013, I see that in some parts they are talking about thins that in my power point doesn't work how they are saying, and other things just don't exist in my power point. In other cases with Outlook, and excel I have the same problem, some things doesn't work how in the FS training says, and other things are no there.. Any body else has this kind of problems with office 365? Thanks in advance For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] putting in headings
HI, If you press control + alt + 1, you will create a heading level 1, and so on, until heading level 3. Now if you want to create more levels of headings, then you can modify it like this. been on a heading, press alt + shift right arrow, then you will be increasing the level of the heading, you can go forward until heading level 9. Now, remember that heading level 1 is the most important thing in that document, and a heading level 9 is going to looks smaller, and it visually looks less important. Now, if you are working on Microsoft Outlook, you don't need to write the email on word, you can use the same keystrokes on Outlook, and it will work fine. Re: [JAWS-Users] question about Excel and JAWS
I am not understanding your question very well. I think that what are you trying to do is make jaws read the headings of the row? On 6/30/15, Dacia Cole dacia.l...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, How do you make excel read columns as you navigate through them. What I mean is if I'm keeping score during a game, how do I make it read the names when I scroll down the individual columns? What's the keystroke for that? I have excel 2013 and a windows 8.1 machine running jaws 16. thanks, Dacia For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] latest Jaws update
Yes, I am noticing the same problem, more over I am noticing that some times, jaws stop talking, and is not way to know what is going on on the screen. After 1 or 2 minutes, jaws come back, but it is not restarting, it is still running, but just stop working for a few minutes. I just paid for a license of jaws professional, and this jaws is working worse than jaws 15, or the older versions, for example jaws 14. This problem is happening on windows 7, windows 8, home or professional edition. Yes, I reported it to FS back in December, but it was not addressed. This makes version 16 still useless to me, as I need to read hidden text. Sticking with version 15. I don’t like paying for something that ends up being broken and is of no use. Feels like wasting my money. Kind of like betting on horses at the track and hoping for a winner. lol.
