 Hi,

 Those interested in the new ITunes 8 being demonstrated with JAWS (with and
 without JTunes), or with another screen reader (Window-Eyes) can download or

 listen to a podcast from

 http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/tandt/~5/398221609/01-itunes.mp3

 It also addresses the question of whether JAWS users will need JTunes or
 not. The podcast is just over one hour in length. Enjoy.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Winamp playlist editor, help getting started?

2008-09-19 Thread Zaheer Sheikh
Hello Chris,

Yes, there is a way to creat a play list in winamp. Try the following:

1. Without opening winamp, locate the song.

2. Right click the song, (press the applications key).

3. Down arrow to Enqueue in Winamp, and Press enter. This will save
the song in the winamp's play list.

4. Browse to other songs and repeat steps 2 and 3.

5. When you have selected all the songs, press alt+tab to winamp.

6. Press x to play the list.

x= Play the list
c= pause
v= stop
b= move to next track
z= move to previous track

Hope this helps.

 I just want to keep it simple right now. I'm wanting Winamp to play a small
 list of songs that I choose to be played that are on my computer. I'm
 assuming that I don't have to move these songs into the same folder. Rather
 I can just tell Winamp where the songs are at and Winamp will access them
 from that location?

 As a complete newbie to Winamp's playlist editor, I'd appreciate any tips to
 get me started.  Thanks.

 Hello tammy. A lot of people don't realize that when they are using
 comcast
 cable or any cable internet they are on a loop. Dsl has it's own network
 and it is individual where as cable is on a loop and the more people on
 the
 loop the slower it gets. My dsl from verizon is much faster then comcast
 has ever been. When I open up internet explorer with my dsl internet from
 verizon it is like turning the television channels it is so fast.

 Just a note, if you are in an apartment, and your neighbors are also on
 cable, you are sharing your internet connection, whereas with DSL, you are
 not.
 A shared connection will always result in slower speeds.

Do you have Internet explorer 8 beta installed in your computer? I was
having same problem when I had Internet Explorer 8 beta installed. I

setup is complete, you can select clasic view.

You start selecting by line with shift-down arrow and when you get to

you lose track of what you are selecting. I have sent a report in and it
would be good if you would as well.
Also, I wonder if there is an email list for the beta testers of JAWS 10.

What other changes did you make? Also, settings in JAWS beta can and do
affect settings in other full versions. I think I'd submit this as a
possible bug in JAWS10 beta via the bug report form. (I have not to this

  You can toggle screen echo setting off highlighted by pressing Insert S
  until you hear Jaws say none. The options are all, none and highlighted.

  I am interested in why this is confusing for you though. How else will
  you
  know which text you have selected if Jaws does not tell you? What method
  do
  you use. Jaws will normally read out the text you select and say
  selected
  at
  the end. If you want to stop the reading just press the control key
  once.

  A couple of weeks back I was altering some Jaws settings via

  A change I did not intend to make and do not want is that: when
