I have a new quad core PC with XP Pro 64 bit version.

Is there a JAWS which will run on this?

Imagine quad cores, and thus 64 bit OS's will become more common!

 Thanks

2008-09-24 Thread Hugh Megarry
As long as your not running a 64 bit o s there will be no probs at all it
just means that it is capable of running 64 bit programmes so if and when
jaws becomes 64 bit then happy days lol

Re: [JAWS-Users] 64 bit version of JAWS

2008-09-24 Thread tim
Like I said it will run on a 64bit box, but only running the op in
32bit mode. My box and new box will both have 64bit cpu chips in
them, and a 32bit version of xp pro on one box and 32bit version of
vista on new box.

nope, jaws don't do 64bit ops. you can have 64bit box, but everything
has to be ran in 32 bit mode.
