Yeah, but it's ok once you have a hardware firewall and some common sense. I've been using Windows Firewall since Windows XP SP2 and touch wood I haven't been hacked. AVG8 free, but it doesn't have a firewall. If you want one, you need AVG internet security. For AVG free, check out free.grisoft.com.
