Re: [JAWS-Users] C Cleaner Inquiry
Another work around, is to check the heading of each section. This will cause all of the checkboxes to be checked, so that when you come across them as you go through each of the items, the item will be checked by default, so all you have to do is uncheck them. I should also note that this method also forces the checkboxes to show, so no having to worry about the checkboxes being invisible anymore. Hope this helps. Scorpio -Original Message- From: Mike B. After that, the checked/unchecked status of that item will be shown throughout that session. However, JAWS still fails to verbalize this detail for the other items until I go through the same process item by item. The reason it would be useful for JAWS to verbalize the status of each item in the list is that CCleaner doesn't check everything by default. For example, the default for passwords is unchecked. So, chances are when CCleaner runs, it won't delete items you want to keep. But you never know. Re: [JAWS-Users] C Cleaner Inquiry
Hi. A while back, someone on the jfw email list posted a way to make jaws announce the state of check boxes in CCleaner. I post the message below. From: Dennis L Hi, if you want jaws to read the status of the buttons in Tools, Options, & Settings do the following. 1. Find an option you know the status of. 2. Press, Insert + 7, on the number row above the main keyboard. It will say add configuration file. The name should say Ccleaner64 press enter Then it will say edit button. Tab once arrow down to check box. Tab to add class button press space bar. Then to ok. NOTE THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED WITH CCleaner! Dennis HTH.
