Because that's about the only common element I could come up with, and there have been some instances where non-screen-reader users can't paste due to issues with their office programs. But, since I only have one XP machine here and the clipboard works fine with the last Jaws update, then I have no clue as to why yours isn't. I guess I'd refer this to FS Tech Support or you might try downloading a fresh copy of Jaws 14.0.1823 and try re-installing. I will check this out for myself tomorrow, I have the ability to update to 14, and I have a comp that is still running windows XP (actually 2, but one is easily fixable). Well, you said you couldn't copy email to the clipboard a couple days ago. Now, you say on your second computer you can. Since I know several other people have Jaws 14 with Outlook Express without this problem, I'm not sure you can conclude yet that it is a Jaws issue. On the same computer where you have Jaws installed where you can't copy to the clipboard from within OE, have you tried loaded a demo of another screen-reader such as Window-eyes 7.5 or 8.1, or NVDA? Can you copy to the clipboard using one of those screen-readers?
