I confess..most of the time I just google the word I want and often find what I need without going to the source. Re: [JAWS-Users] ISO????
An ISO is a disk image format developed by an international standards organization in a specific format. This standard is not proprietary, so it can be used by all. It can contain all of the information contained on most optical CD / DVD disks, except for most copy protected disks. Programs to copy the contents to a hard disk in the ISO format can be stored away safely and distributed across the Internet, like a Linux Operating System, Microsoft Office, or a device driver disk. Another common utility is an ISO burner, which can write an ISO file back to an optical disk. There are many other helpful utilities for ISO files. Mounting an ISO file is exactly like inserting a disk into your optical drive. I am pretty sure that I have created and tested a bootable CD from a bootable ISO image. It was about a year ago, so the mind is a little fuzzy. Best way to test is to give it a try. Re: [JAWS-Users] ISO image CD Burner
Hello Roger, I have used Image burn and found it to work quite well with JAWS. You might want to give it a try. Here is the link where you can download it. Find the download now link on the page to start the download. I have mainly used the program to burn DVDS, but it can also burn ISO files. http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/ImgBurn/1128426215/1 Take care.
