Yes, Rick, thanks.  I've got an OEM copy at home, and have never used it. It 
sounds like a hairy-legged monster, though, capable of leaping tall buildings 
in a  single bound.  I've been toying with the idea of using it to clean out my 
corrupted AVG once and for all.

The outfit that gave us PowerDVD (wish I could think of its name) also has 
one that'll handle anything from files to folders to entire disks, or so it 
claims.

CCleaner has a drive whiper. It can do multiple pass overwrites of an
entire disk using the drive whiper tool, but it can also just securely
delete what it cleans up in the disk cleanup tool.
