Re: [JAWS-Users] JFW11

2010-05-03 Thread Steve

Yeah, too bad they don't try to squash more bugs or rework the Jaws core.

There is getting to be too many features; too many bugs that pop up from
time to time and the program is getting more unwieldy. They really need to
modularize it better.

Re: [JAWS-Users] JFW11

2010-05-02 Thread Barry G
I am now getting an intermittent problem in tables in MS Word - when using
the control, alt and cursor keys, every so often JFW has a wobbly and
reverts to saying unknown script call... and only a shut down and restart
of JFW will sort it out.

I am also having difficulties with web pages using IE 8 where, apparently at
random, both the alt + left cursor and the backspace key refuse to execute a
back command to the previous webpage, the only solution being to go into the
IE menus and select it from there. This may, however, be an IE problem...

All the best,

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JFW11

Hi List,

I upgraded to the latest build of JFW last night and I'm having one
challenge.

I'm using outlook 2007 and whenever I arrow through my list, JFW is
giving
me a rather odd reading. In 10 it would only tell me the basic info.
Now it
gives me all kinds of info I don't really want. Any suggestions to make
it

behave like jfw 10?

Regards
Kerry

Using outlook 2003 with the latest jfw I too am experiencing issues in the
listbox. However, my problem is that all the information is spoken twice
before speaking the first few lines of text of the e-mail. After speaking to
fs's escalation department and playing around with various settings and
doing an uninstall/install, we didn’t' resolve my issue, but I was told that
my particular problem came up in the beta testing of the build, but that I
was the first so far to report it with the final release.

Maybe you can play with the customize outlook message settings or perhaps
disable add ons (this is what fs had me do for example) and see if that
helps... other then that, contacting fs would seem like a good option too.
Who knows, maybe it's just another bug that got through the testing part.
I'm still dealing with my problem that's for sure.
