[JAWS-Users] Jaws Continually Announcing Time
Good day, I have a new computer it is running Windows seven and Jaws 11.02. And for some reason Jaws is announcing the time every minute. It doesn't do this when the pc cursor is on the desk top but anywhere else and at all other times it does. I have not encountered this before, how do I turn it off please? Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws Continually Announcing Time
wonder if you ran that SFC maybe it fix some problems for you? I did that in fact, on my laptop and my desktop. On the laptop, I have my start back which I had posted recently that it was not showing this when booting up. The desktop wasn't experiencing that problem, but there was something esle happening, so whatever was, now is working good too since I did that SCF run. I know yall were talking bout it here recently, it doesn't give you a page to alt tab to for it's results, you just got to sit there and wait to here it finish and tell you what it found. Jaws did that whole count down process, mine sure didn't take no hour, not even anywhere close to that, probably 10 minutes, it was quick. Now back to this clock issue...I just thought this might be worth a shot here to mention. Before, I did this on the laptop, I wasn't hearing the time all the time as you are, but right at booting up, jaws stated the time and the date, and then using the jaws key +8/up arrow, it read that all again, but no start menu I'm probably on the wrong track here, wouldn't be the first and sure not the last time, lol - Original Message - From: J.Cyr delig...@aei.ca To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Wednesday, April 01, 2015 1:20 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws Continually Announcing Time Sorry, but it has really only ever been set to highlighted, and I did check it (and everything else I could think of ) before writing.
