determined to be a Trojan. I followed up with the Microsoft safety scanner
in quick mode. It identified two more Trojans and removed them. I just
started a full scan although I think that the computer is clean now.
That utility worked great with jaws and is only good for ten days. After
that you must download it again. It is not designed to replace your
anti-virus software but to work with it. Just another utility for the tool
box.

it is an antivirus program from microsoft that is not installed on the 
harddrive so when run any viruses on your computer don't interfere with the 
scan

days at which time you need to download a new copy of the file.
