and if you want to select a in otherwords a set of rows and columbs just go from say the top to last row you want holding the shift key down the whole time your moving with the arrow keys, then go to the left or right across the colums you want, when your done you will have a block of selected cells and can cut copy and/or paste them, (and/or preform other tasks like cell coloration, font formatting and/or adding borders to the area selected) you can also clear, delete, or other such mass operations this way. I believe you could also enter specific cell coordinates such as A1:G5: if only parts wanted to be selected , correct?
