[JAWS-Users] Skype for video

This is probably the wrong list to ask about video. I have been a 
motivational speaker and magician for many years. I was just honored by a 
request to speak at the Blacksburg High School for  Tom's World Sight Day.
The school is about 400 miles away and due to other commitments would be 
unable to make the trip.
A friend suggested that I get a webcam  and mike for my desktop computer and 
use Skype.
How doable would this be? Also would it be very expensive, I have no plans 
to ever use the camera again.
Also how difficult is it to try and learn Skype in a few days. The talk 
would be on October 8.

I don't know what the basic web cam costs these days but so far as Skype is 
concerned it takes some configuring, then after that it is not too bad at 
all.
