Hi, thanks for this. I have done it so now it is a matter of waiting until I
need to restart my machine to see if it worked.

Hi tom and Sharon

If you go to Jaws Options, then braille, just before the OK button there
should be a checkbox for Show Braille load Errors. If you uncheck this, the
message should go away. I've checked this in Jaws 17.

Hope this helps,

S

work. Now I am stuck with this braille driver error every time I load Jaws.
When it first happened to me I ask for suggestions but none of them worked.

Hi Michael,
I don't think you can, and apparently neither can VFO,
since it has been present for several versions.
You could try a repair of Jaws, but I have done this several times in the
past with no improvement.
On my system, the message comes up at startup, but not all the time.
I have just learned to ignore it

Thanks Rick, and I'm not using any braille devices.

Hi Patti,
If you are not using any Braille devices, then it probably shouldn't pose
any problems other than being an annoyance.
This is something FS should correct, it has been doing this since version 16
on both 32 and 64 bit systems.
It is an intermittent problem.

Hey Gang,

I turned on my laptop this morning, and I got this.

I'm running windows 10, jaws 17, on a 32 bit computer.

Is this something to worry about? I pressed ok?
