Re: [JAWS-Users] changing the Jaws voice in the say all command
Hi thanks for that. But can you please explain more? As I have gone into utilities from within the Jaws menu. And then entered on settings. However, there does not seem to be anywhere to choose the realspeak voices etc? thanks again Jason - Original Message - From: volly vollynelso...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Thursday, August 18, 2011 3:46 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] changing the Jaws voice in the say all command no the settings are still the same as they are with 11. In the past. I made use of the option in Jaws. That lets you specify one of the real speak voices. To be used in the say all command in Jaws. Which then automatically switches back to eloquence for normal navigation etc. However, I turned that feature off quite some time ago. I now wish to turn it back on. I followed the steps for doing so. As outlined in the Jaws training tutorial. However, I don't seem to be able to get it to work again. I am using Jaws 12. Are the real speak voices, no longer included as part of the Jaws installation? Is that where I am going wrong? As I only have the one software CD for Jaws 12. That was sent to me. Re: [JAWS-Users] changing the Jaws voice in the say all command
Go to the jaws window and go to options to the voices submenu and right arrow to voice adjustment then tab through and you will be able to use other voices! Re: [JAWS-Users] changing the Jaws voice in the say all command
Hello Jason, It may be that you still need to install the additional voices, which you can download from the fs site. They don't install automatically upon installation of jaws. After that, you would have to create profiles for the voices you want to use, before you'd be able to switch to them.
