Re: [JAWS-Users] image for windows 3

2010-11-25 Thread David Ferrin
The bridge that I spoke of is a separate hardware device that I attached an
internal drive from another system after removing it of course from said
computer. That was so the drive showed up on my laptop as an external hard
drive just like any such device that you would go to a store and purchase.

Like I said at the start of that tutorial not everybody would be able to do
it but for those who don't mind a little surgery and in my case blood as I
cut my hand pulling the drive out of that system you can have speech the
entire way during the process.

I use a Van Tech bridge that cost around $30 or a little less I don't recall
exactly right now.

David,

That is correct and I let the 30 days elapsed. Part of the problem
was that I did not have a DVD burner when I installed image for
windows and by the time I bought one and installed it into my PC, I
ran out of time to do another image.

Thatis why I am going to have to purchase the software after I listen

The demo version will only restore an image if it is less than 30 days old
if memory serves.

Hi David,

I do enjoy your audio tutorial and I am anxious to hear your latest on
image for windows. I have not yet purchase the software and I guess that I
ran into some problems using the demo. It seems that I created the DVD's
of my image successfully, but for some reason I tried to verify the image
and the software cancelled with an error. So I gave up for the time being.
I guess that I will now have to purchase the software in order to try it
again since it has been long past the trial date.

Keep up the good work. Take care,

Lennie

I'm working on the third and probably final tutorial in this particular series
at this point. It is recorded and I am now in the process of cleaning it up.
Trust me it takes a lot of time to make them sound any where near like I know
what I am talking about. I enjoy doing them though and from what I gather
