I think this will work:
Go to your "documents" folder and press enter.
Listen to what JAWS says. It should say the name of a document and "Not
selected."
If you hear "Selected," press control-spacebar together and, if need be, repeat
until you hear "Not selected" along with that file name.
Press shift-control-n together.
You should hear "Edit" and possibly "New folder."
Type the name you want, "Books." And press enter.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] missing folder
I've just moved to a new location and everything is a bit confused. But I
thought all was well with my computer until I discovered a missing folder.
In Documents, I had a folder called Books. Humanware companion is set to find
books in that folder from BARD and Bookshare, and I can easily open and
transfer books to my NLS player or my stream. But the folder, Books, is gone. I
have Win7 64 bit computer, Jaws 18, and IE 11. Can someone please tell me how
to set up that folder again?
