Re: [JAWS-Users] re desktop problems
From my experience with JAWS Scripting, it is my educated guess that there is something that temporarily takes the focus off of the Desktop, then returned to the Desktop. For instance, if you notice this on Startup, it may be background programs temporarily grabbing focus to the Notification Area as they start. *Don Marang* Vinux Software Development Coordinator - vinuxproject.org <http://www.vinuxproject.org/> There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter. -- Dean Kamen On 8/5/2011 7:55 PM, Rick Justice wrote: Where did you get the information that states it is supposed to say it twice? no It's suppose to say it twice, because every computer is different. does it. That lets you know that your in desktop,. - Original Message - From: "Mike & Barbara In Arcadia" To: Sent: Friday, August 05, 2011 2:54 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] re desktop problems Hi Stewart, Personally I have no idea why Jaws is saying desktop twice. On my computers Jaws says desktop only 1 time but, as far as not going directly to the desktop when starting, that happens to me all the time. It will go directly to the desktop then, it starts landing on the start button or the clock. When it does this, I tab 1 time & Alt + tab 1 time & that puts me on the desktop. 1 other thing to try is press the windows key + D, & see if that will put you on the desktop.
